Nanjing Zhengdeqian Low-Carbon Technology Co., Ltd. is recognized in China as a "High-Tech Enterprise," a "Science and Technology-based SME," a "Software Enterprise," and an "AAA-rated Credit Enterprise." It serves as a standing council member of the China Bamboo Industry Association and a group member of the Jiangsu Software Industry Association.

 

The company's founder served as an expert for the "Modern Timber Structure Building Technology Project"-a joint initiative between Natural Resources Canada and China's Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development-and previously worked as a technical consultant for Canada Wood (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("Canada Wood China"). The founder also authored the *Technical Manual: Prefabricated Modular Bamboo Houses* (English edition).

 

Established by the Modern Bamboo and Timber Architecture Research Institute of Jiangsu Academy of Building Science Co., Ltd., the company is an integrated service provider for carbon-neutral architecture, combining technology research, intelligent manufacturing, and project construction. It is dedicated to the professional R&D and intelligent manufacturing of green, low-carbon, and energy-efficient modern buildings. The company provides specialized technical services and customized sales for resource recycling and comprehensive carbon-neutral building systems. It holds ongoing certifications for ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) systems. Operations are managed across five distinct business segments: technology R&D, product manufacturing, sales, construction, and overseas trade.

 

The company and its founder have played key roles in drafting the engineering construction standard *Technical Standard for Light-Frame Wood Structure Buildings*, the standard design *Construction Details for Light-Frame Wood Structure Buildings*, and the technical manual *Series on Technical Applications and Engineering Demonstrations for Urban Renewal under the Dual-Carbon Goal*. To date, the company has secured 16 Chinese computer software copyrights-including those for "Integrated Systems for Prefabricated Wood (Bamboo) Structure Buildings," "Stiffness Calculation Software for Prefabricated Wood (Bamboo) Component Joints," and "Seismic Design Systems for Wood (Bamboo) Structure Engineering"-as well as six authorized Chinese invention patents, such as "Prefabricated Wood Structure Passive House" and "Prefabricated Wood Truss Roof." Additional patented technologies and component products are currently under development and manufacturing. Integrated application projects for carbon-neutral buildings (encompassing engineering design, product manufacturing, and construction) completed in recent years include: the glulam structure project for the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in China (a carbon-neutral building featuring a hybrid glulam and concrete structure, with rooftop greenery and photovoltaic installations); the Zero-Carbon Pavilion at Hexi Urban Ecological Park in Nanjing (a modern bamboo-timber architectural complex utilizing a hybrid of bamboo products and glulam structures, featuring rooftop greenery and photovoltaic installations); and various urban renewal projects in Jiangsu Province spanning 2008 to 2024 (green retrofitting of existing buildings using a mix of bamboo products and lightweight timber components).

 

Our Factory

 

 

The factory managed by the company is located in Chengdong Town, Hai'an City, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China, about 200 kilometers away from Shanghai Pudong Airport and about 1.5 hours' drive.

 

The factory is mainly responsible for the production and processing of wood (bamboo) materials and wood (bamboo) components for construction. The factory covers an area of ​​about 3,600 square meters and is divided into a light prefabricated component processing center and a heavy prefabricated component processing center. It is also equipped with raw material warehouse and finished product warehouse. There are currently 56 skilled workers.

 

The lightweight prefabricated component processing center mainly uses S-P-F (spruce-pine-fir) secondary dimension lumber produced in Canada. Mainly produces: wall studs (walls), parallel chord truss joists (floors), and wood truss roof systems (roofs).

 

The heavy-duty prefabricated component processing center mainly uses imported Douglas fir, European spruce, Scots pine and other woods, as well as bamboo laminated lumber from China, and is composed of components that are laminated and glued with structural adhesives. Mainly produces: glulam beams, glulam columns, glulam trusses, cross-laminated timber products (CLT), and glulam bamboo products.

Prior to 2025, the focus was primarily on modern timber (and bamboo) structure projects within China:

1) Urban renewal projects: Projects involving existing buildings and new construction (specifically timber truss roofing) within urban renewal initiatives in Shanghai; Nanjing and Zhenjiang (Jiangsu Province); and Wuhan (Hubei Province). These projects covered residential housing, office buildings, schools, and more. A cumulative total of 1,673 buildings were fitted with prefabricated timber truss roof systems.

2) Cultural and tourism projects: Light and heavy timber structure projects at various locations, including Jubaoshan Park, Hexi Friendship Park, Yuzui Park, and the Green Expo Park in Nanjing; the Qingdao World Horticultural Expo; the Yixing Bamboo Expo; the Hangzhou Binjiang waterfront landscape belt; and the Hongkong Land "Seed Pavilion."

3) Office and commercial buildings: The Chinese Embassy office building in Belgium; the Hongkong Land "Seed Pavilion"; Qinglongshan Hotel in Hangzhou (under construction); a kindergarten in Xihu District (design phase); and a practical training building at Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology.

 

Prior to 2025, commissioned by the Chinese government, the company undertook demonstration projects for prefabricated glued-bamboo houses in Nepal and Ethiopia as part of the "Belt and Road Initiative."
